Do you struggle to trust others, to maintain stable relationships, to communicate your needs and understand your feelings? All of these can often be the result of early childhood trauma. I aim to help teens and young adults struggling with the effects of trauma in various areas of their lives. My goal is to help you heal from your past and understand how it has shaped your emotions, behaviors, thought patterns and relationships with others. If you’re seeking therapy, congratulations on taking the first step toward wellness and peace!

Alyssa Collina, ATR-BC, LPATA

Specializes in using expressive techniques to treat anxiety, depression and trauma in teens and adults. Accepts cash, check, debit/credit card and HSA for payment.

I believe treatment should be navigated delicately and without judgement. We are more than our current situation, which is why I work to understand what it took to get you where you are today, including your strengths. I encourage art therapy, as it does not require any artistic skill and can help tap into memories and emotions that you may have struggled to find or articulate. We’re all human, we all make mistakes, and we all have trauma. Sometimes these things affect us in ways we wish they didn’t, and I would love to help you improve in areas that need most attention.

Drawing on Psychologist Ashley Warner’s insight that “Beneath every behavior, there is a feeling. Building trust is foundational in my therapeutic approach, ensuring that clients feel empowered to express themselves openly and without judgment.
