“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
― Lori Gottlieb
Navigating life’s challenges can be emotionally, spiritually, and physically exhausting. I believe that you have the power to work through your obstacles and I want to walk with you. I am passionate to assist any person struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or anger to develop coping skills and gain control. Creating a space in which you feel safe, heard, and seen is my goal for our time together.
Focusing on your unique needs, we will work jointly to apply evidence-based techniques and interventions (CBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, etc.) to achieve your goals. I want to hear your story and help guide you through your own personal growth.
I completed my Masters of Social Work in 2016 at the University of Kentucky and have almost 10 years experience working within the mental health sector. I have worked in a variety of environments including children’s placements, children’s shelters, hospital settings, in-home counseling, parenting classes, adult life skills classes, and hospice.
