“A man who suffers before it is necessary, suffers more than is necessary.”

– Seneca

I am passionate about walking alongside individuals on their journey to healing and recovery. As a Certified Social Worker, I provide compassionate, trauma-informed care tailored to each person’s unique needs. I specialize in substance use and mental health treatment, offering individualized plans and evidence-based counseling for individuals, families, and groups. My philosophy is simple: meet people where they are and empower them to take strides toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I believe that every person has the strength and resilience to overcome challenges when given the right support and resources. My experience in the military taught me resilience, gave me context on suffering, and cemented the importance of connection and service – values that continue to motivate and inform my practice.

I am deeply committed to walking alongside individuals on their journeys to healing and recovery. As a Licensed/Certified Social Worker, I deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed care that is individualized to each person’s history, strengths, and goals. I specialize in co-occurring substance use and mental health treatment, developing personalized care plans that combine evidence‑based therapies, practical skill‑building, and ongoing support to foster durable change.

My clinical work spans individual therapy, family counseling, and group facilitation. I draw from modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive‑behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, and trauma‑focused approaches to help clients build coping skills, repair relationships, and reintegrate into community and work life. I prioritize cultural humility, collaborative goal‑setting, and measurable progress so clients can see and celebrate growth along the way.

Service is at the center of my practice. My approach is simple and intentional: meet people where they are, acknowledge their lived experience, and empower them to take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore barriers, access resources, and mobilize their innate strengths and resilience.

My military experience shaped my resilience and compassion, gave me firsthand perspective on trauma and suffering, and reinforced the importance of connection, trust, and service. Those values continue to inform my clinical style and commitment to advocacy—ensuring that every person I work with receives respectful, practical, and strengths‑based care designed to support long‑term recovery.

Fun Fact: A key part of my self care is creative pursuits. I nerd out over making music and experimenting in the kitchen. Learning new things is my favorite!
