“Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.”
– Carl Jung
I believe treatment should be navigated delicately and without judgement. We are more than our current situation, which is why I work to understand what it took to get you where you are today, including your strengths. I encourage art therapy, as it does not require any artistic skill and can help tap into memories and emotions that you may have struggled to find or articulate. We’re all human, we all make mistakes, and we all have trauma. Sometimes these things affect us in ways we wish they didn’t, and I would love to help you improve in areas that need most attention.
While I specialize in art therapy, I enjoy talk therapy just as much. I have experience using a myriad of therapeutic media and modalities with individuals of many different cultural backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, sexualities, and gender expressions. My goal is to walk with you and instill confidence that you can find the security and self that you deserve.
Be it through art, emotion-focused therapy, behavioral therapies, or another modality that best suits your needs, we will see that there is a reason behind every thought, feeling, and action, and I would be honored to help you discover and explore your reasons.
