JIM PETERS, LMFT
Anxiety, Depression, Relationships & Veterans| adults | Gottman Method + CBT | Private Pay + HSA + FSA + Medicaid
Hello, I’m Jim Peters, and I offer online mental health counseling for individuals, couples, and families. As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in Indiana, I am currently accepting new supervisees and able to provide virtual services to clients in the Hoosier State.
My approach to couples therapy is rooted in the Gottman Method, which involves a comprehensive assessment of the relationship and uses research-based interventions grounded in the Sound Relationship House Theory. Having retired from the U.S. Army after a 28-year career, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by military families, service members, and those navigating transitions such as retirement.
With a strong faith background and a college degree, I also offer a Christian-based perspective for clients seeking that support. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space to help you overcome difficulties, strengthen relationships, and find meaningful growth.
