We all experience loss throughout our lifetime. Loss of employment, divorce and the death of loved ones can be overwhelming and can lead to challenging emotions. Coping with these losses can seem unbearable and very lonely. We help support people where they are in the grieving process and offer a compassionate non-judgmental approach. Grieving our losses looks different for everyone and sometimes doesn’t even make sense and that is completely okay. We will grieve some losses for the entirety of our lives and can be like riding a roller coaster—some days may be easier to manage than others.
“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
