“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
― Christopher Robin
In my practice, I specialize in fostering emotional growth and healing for clients ages birth to 30, navigating through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Guided by the belief that understanding the root causes is essential for genuine healing, I create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and needs authentically.
Drawing on Psychologist Ashley Warner’s insight that “Beneath every behavior, there is a feeling. And beneath every feeling, there is a need,” I prioritize uncovering underlying issues rather than merely treating symptoms. Building trust is foundational in my therapeutic approach, ensuring that clients feel empowered to express themselves openly and without judgment.
Recognizing the significance of cultural and socioeconomic diversity, I tailor my approach to honor each client’s unique circumstances. Alongside my clinical expertise, I have undergone specialized training in modalities such as EMDR, Exposure & Response Prevention for OCD, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. Integrating techniques like Somatic Embodiment and Theraplay, I address the mind-body connection and the importance of secure attachments in emotional regulation.
Currently pursuing certification as a foundational Theraplay clinician and Registered Play Therapist, I continue to expand my skills to meet the needs of children and adolescents. Certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy, my dedication lies in providing compassionate, client-centered care that fosters growth and resilience.
